Unforgetable and Unique

Great Huts boasts very unique accommodations that you'll especially appreciate if you love nature. Guests compare it to five-star-hotel-like camping. Throughout the property, you will find various local art, complementing the African-Jamaican style of the resort.

Lovely Location

Great Huts is situated in a wonderful location on top of the bluffs overlooking Boston Bay. Guests say it is easy to get to the beach and other local attractions, and there are many great restaurants in the area. Guests highly recommend trying the jerk dishes, which the area is known for. There is even a Jerk Festival that occurs once a year and definitely worth attending if you're in town at the time.

Pleasant Personnel

The staff at Great Huts is said to be very casual and welcoming, yet totally professional. Guests really enjoyed the personal level of customer service and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.

Negative Reviews

Communal Commode

Several guests were surprised that not all rooms have private bathrooms, and have access to communal bathrooms outdoors. A few guests also thought the communal bathrooms could be better maintained by the cleaning staff.

Dissapointed Dinner

Some guests found the food at the onsite restaurants not too impressive, and the quality sub-par to expectations. In addition, many said the portions were quite small. There are plenty of local dining options nearby, however, and guests highly recommend visiting one of the jerk stands.

Watch Your Step

If you have limited mobility or difficulty walking, you may want to be careful when on the hotel grounds. The property has many uneven surfaces and rocky steps.
