Positive Reviews

Very clean and tidy throughout

The owners do a great job of keeping the place clean and tidy, most reviews mention this which is peace of mind when paying to stay. There are mentions of dated decor but its in keeping with the charater of the building.

Tasty breakfast served up on a morning

There are many positive reviews about the breakfast. There is lots to choose from and its perfectly cooked by the owner who is very friendly and willing to help in any way possible.

Cheap and cheerful acommadation

The hotel offers a comfortable nights sleep for a decent price. Many have stayed here and will stay again due to this reason as its a great area for commuting and gives easy access to the coast.

Negative Reviews

Very noisy on the weekends in the pub

There is a pub downstairs which has entertainment on at the weekend. The rooms are straight above so unfortunately there is noise until around 12.30am in the morning from either bands or singers. As it is a converted house the walls are a little thinner than in a standard hotel.

Not a great Wi-Fi signal in the pub

The Wi-Fi is free of charge but unfortunately there isn't a great signal. Those needing to use the internet whilst staying may require their own service as a backup to the one supplied.

Owner has dogs and hardly any parking

There are a few reviews regarding the owner who apparently lives in one of the rooms and has dogs which are free to roam the house. Guests have not been happy about this as there was no mention before they stayed. There is a free of charge car park which appears to be fairly small. Guests have mentioned they have been blocked in on occasion or had to park on the roadside.
