Located a five-minute walk from Playa Flamingo, a white-sand beach with showers, Hotel Flamingo Beach Resort is a family-friendly destination that keeps guests content with five swimming pools among its many diversions.

There are 301 rooms at Hotel Flamingo Beach Resort, and all of them have balconies or terraces, plus air conditioning. Safes are provided, along with TVs and fully equipped kitchens. There are living areas in the units, too.

This property has a 24-hour reception desk. Additionally, guests can pay extra to use the wellness centre, which has a Finnish sauna and spa treatment areas. There are daily entertainment shows for kids and adults, plus football, tennis, billiards, and darts areas.

Positive Reviews

Nice sea views from most apartments

Since the resort does not heavily advertise this, several guess were very pleasantly surprised to find that they were allocated a room with stunning views over the Atlantic. It was mentioned that most apartments tend to have sea views.

Quick walk into town

Many guests were very pleased that the resort was within easy walking distance of Playa Blanca, where they could find some street life and dining and drinking alternatives to the resort. They definitely didn't feel stuck at the resort, with nowhere else to go

Good food at all restaurants

It's surprisingly difficult to find negative comments about the food. Considering the volume of reviews, this would seem to indicate that the chefs and food managers are ding something right. Guests especially rave about the seaside restaurants, which open in the summer season.

Negative Reviews

Not enough sun beds

Unfortunately this rather common problem has not seemed to bypass the Flamingo. Several guests talk of not being able to find a sun bed unless they get up exceptionally early and “reserve” one. There was some confusion about whether reservation was allowed or not, only adding to the unhappiness experienced.

Entertainment program not great for adults

While guests do give high marks to the kid's program, many speak of entertainment for adults being thin on the ground. Also, since there didn't seem to be much variety it seems many guests were unable to find something that they enjoyed.

Children's pool not heated in winter

Many guests travelling with young children point out that the kids pool isn't available in winter since it is unheated, and therefore too cold to swim in.
