Positive Reviews

Canal side location is very cool.

Getting to hang out by one of the capital's most trendy waterways really is a genuine buzz. The waterside terrace is a fantastic place to enjoy a drink or two as well.

Ideal venue for solo travellers.

Plentiful social ice breakers; a very friendly chillout room, and a bar that does nothing but engender good times: this hostel is a great place for those travelling alone to meet people and make friends.

Staff are very friendly.

Because many of the people working here are backpackers themselves, the hostel as a whole has a really friendly, sociable vibe about it. The free city walking tour is a really good craic too!

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi isn't the best.

It often seems to be the case that, the higher up the building you go, the less likely you are to receive a decent Wi-Fi signal. Be sure to book a room on one of the lower floors if being online is important to you.

There's no kitchen...

...So this may not be the ideal place for you to stay if you're a budget-minded traveller who likes to cook your own meals.

On-site bar is pretty expensive.

Whilst Belushi's is undoubtedly a great place to meet people and sink a pint or two, there's no getting away from the fact that it definitely charges over the odds. You'll need to be pretty strategic with your guest food discount and the various drinks promotions proffered to avoid getting stung here.
