Friendly and efficient service

Guests were in agreement that the staff here were excellent. The reception staff was said to be not only friendly and welcoming but also very efficient and reliable. Guests had every confidence that they would do both what they had agreed to and what was required by individual circumstances. English speaking visitors also reported that they had an excellent grasp of that language.

Walk to attractions

The hotel is extremely centrally situated, so it came as no surprise that guests raved about the location. They liked being able to walk to a number of major attractions, including the Louvre, from the hotel. They also liked that there were excellent neighbourhood cafes and restaurants surrounding them.

Good in-house restaurant-bar

Guests really seemed to like the in-house restaurant. The food was said to be decent but what most impressed was the outdoor terrace, where guests liked to sit and watch the passing parade while they dined.

Negative Reviews

Rooms were small

Guests report that the rooms here are quite small. Considering this is rated as a luxury property, they had perhaps also been expecting the additional luxury of extra space.

Disappointing breakfast

While generally favourable in their reviews of the restaurant, guests were less impressed with the breakfast here, saying that it was exceptionally expensive compared to alternative eateries in the area and really didn't offer anything to justify that cost.

Can be a little noisy

There seemed to be two sources of noise that disturbed guests. The first was simply the regular traffic that could be heard in rooms that faced the street. The second was from the garbage trucks that made early morning stops when guests really needed just a bit more sleep.
