Positive Reviews

Perfectly located to explore Paris

Conveniently situated on Boulevard Haussmann, the Millennium Paris Opera provides a great base from which you can walk to many of the city's attractions, including the stylish, Galeries Lafayette and numerous theaters and museums. Guests loved the close proximity to the Richelieu Drouot metro station, enabling trips to the Eiffel Tower, the famous, Champs-élysées and beyond.

A lovely hotel with old-world charm

This 1920s hotel impressed guests with its period features and grand old interiors. You'll find rooms comfortable and modern with a flourish of old-fashioned elegance, right down to the hotel's brasserie, which features a stunning glass dome in the ceiling that you can dine under.

Clean and spacious, even for a city hotel

Guests favored the generously sized, clean rooms that made for a great retreat after a day out in France's romantic capital.

Negative Reviews

A little too old-fashioned

This grand old hotel retains many period features but they require a bit of attention in places. From dull lighting to tatty carpets, some guests have reported that the faded grandeur is rather too faded.

Wi-Fi gives a patchy performance

Millennium Paris Opera has free Wi-Fi throughout. However, some visitors found the performance of it somewhat hit and miss, making it difficult to access emails, which particularly affected business travelers.

Room amenities not always replenished

Some guests commented that they had to go to reception to request that basic things like coffee and toiletries were replaced, as housekeeping had not done so when the rooms were cleaned. This added to the frustrations caused by the somewhat outdated rooms.
