Positive Reviews

One of the best deals you might find in Paris

For a no-frills place to lay your head and be close to some of the best cultural sites, nightlife and shopping the city has to offer, this is certainly a good choice which offers value for money.

Daily cleaning service

Despite being closer to a hostel set-up than a hotel, there is still a daily cleaning and general housekeeping service for each room which is more than you would get at a backpackers lodge, for example.

Fridge and microwave very helpful

As the hotel works on a bed and breakfast basis, guests have to make their own plans for meals throughout the day Having food preparation mod-cons in the room is extremely handy as eating out all the time will certainly get expensive in Paris Note the supermarket around the corner for all your grocery needs.

Negative Reviews

No elevators

The hotel rooms are arranged over six storeys and, typical to Paris hotels and buildings, there are only stairs to move up and down This is of course a problem for those with mobility issues and/or in poor health If available, request a room on the ground floor.

Shared bathrooms can get cramped

There is one bathroom per floor of about twenty five rooms with toilets and showers which although they are clean and well-kempt, can get a little crowded should the hotel be fully booked This also might limit one’s privacy, so is something to consider particularly for longer stays.

More hostel than hotel

The rooms are very basic and a little small, so bear in mind they may not suit a vacation or visit where you plan on spending much time inside It is however still a comfortable and well-connected base just a few minutes’ walk from the metro station.
