Positive Reviews

Location is a big plus

The vast majority of guests who've stayed here loved the fact that this hotel is little more than a hop, skip and jump from both the beach and pier. Having a huge expanse of green space (Paignton Green) right in front of the property is a nice touch too, especially for parents of small children.

Beds provide a top night's sleep

It has to be said that very few visitors have felt lt down by the levels of comfort provided by the top-quality beds in the guest rooms. Indeed, some visitors became so enamoured with the mattresses that they didn't want to go home!

Hosts afford a really warm welcome

Numerous guests have been impressed by the genuinely warm welcome proffered by the genial couple who run this cheery B&B. Evidently, these are the kind of hosts who enjoy interacting with their guests and go out of their way to engender a tangible ‘home from home' vibe.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast time is woefully short

Many disgruntled guests have complained about the super-short serving window (8.30am to 8.45am) provided by the hotel for breakfast. If you fail to shake a leg and get downstairs sometime within that fifteen minute window then that's your lot - no breakfast for you!

Parking is very limited indeed

Although complimentary parking is provided at this hotel, there's only four parking bays available. Not surprisingly, this has left many visitors feeling somewhat disappointed and despondent.

Housekeeping could be better

A significant number of guests who stayed for a prolonged period noted that bedding wasn't changed, bathrooms weren't cleaned and towels were only replaced once.
