Positive Reviews

A wonderful treat for the tastebuds

The food served at this hotel is exemplary with a wide variety of options available in either the lounge bar or the a la carte restaurant Great food all cooked to perfection and served by extremely helpful staff.

Friendliness only found in country hotels

The staff are beyond compare at this super hotel They attend to your every whim with such a pleasant manner that any small problems are soon forgotten Five-star service at a four star hotel.

Well maintained throughout

The many facilities of this hotel such as the leisure centre and spa are very well taken care of You can relax in the pool or enjoy some treatments from the lovely staff who carry out their duties in a very professional yet friendly manner.

Negative Reviews

Old style hotel with modern day pricing

This is a very nicely located hotel with good facilities but the rooms could do with a bit of a makeover They are comfortable and functionable but look like they were designed in the seventies and as such are a little expensive.

No relaxation room at the spa

It’s not a big complaint, but after your treatments it’s nice to have somewhere to sit and unwind This isn’t available at the hotel’s spa, but given that the treatments are all carried out to the highest standards, you could overlook this minor flaw.

No lift for weary legs

If you’ve spent the day walking around the local area then you may want to take a break in the hotel lounge before climbing the stairs to your room There are quite a few steps so if you’re not too light on your feet you might want to consider a hotel with a lift.
