Positive Reviews

What a truly magical location.

Situated ‘where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea’ ( Percy French’s well known ballad), the unique appeal of these surroundings is matched only by the warmth of welcome and hospitality displayed by the owners.

Quality breakfast.

Ordered the previous evening, breakfast choices are first class. They use fresh local produce and free range eggs where possible and the result speaks for itself.

Dreamy accommodation.

The rooms are spacious, warm and welcoming and once you sink into those beds, it’s only the prospect of breakfast that will prompt you to re-emerge.

No teas and coffees in the room.

It’s freely available from the guests’ lounge but who wants to trail down there every time they fancy a cuppa?

Dated breakfast policy.

The previous evening you may fancy a full breakfast, but the following morning, something quite different. Hotel tariffs, these days, reflect the paying guest’s right of choice. Not here; whatever you choose the previous night is what you’ll get the follo
