Positive Reviews

Peaceful location with stunning views.

The guest house is situated in a quiet residential area and overlooks the sea much to the pleasure of many who stayed here. Guests said they appreciated the peace and quiet surrounding the premises as well as the picture-postcard views of the Moray Firth which many admired from their rooms. If you are keen on sea views and are looking for a relaxing and tranquil ambiance then you certainly won't be disappointed.

Close to the beach and local amenities.

Many were pleased to find that they only had a short walk to the beach down the path that leads directly from the guest house. Those who wanted to sample the local bars and cafes also appreciated having numerous local amenities on their doorstep.

Breakfasts tick all the boxes.

Guests were very complimentary about the breakfasts served on the premises as many described the food as well-prepared using fresh, quality produce. The items on offer were said to be extensive whilst many also enjoyed the stunning views from the dining room whilst having their meal.

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi issues.

Those who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal was rather weak prompting many to take their devices closer to the reception area where the signal was said to be better.

Restricted bar opening hours.

Quite a few guests objected to the fact that the on-site bar closed at 8pm which meant that those who wanted to have a drink later in the evening had to walk to some of the nearby pubs.

Some rooms on the small side.

Guests who stayed in the single rooms said that the accommodation was very cramped as they had little space to move around as well as to stow away their belongings.
