The Hotel Riu Montego Bay is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort, which boasts its own private sandy beach. It is located near Montego Bay and guests can reach the famous “Hip Strip” with its many shops and bars within minutes.

Negative Reviews

Staff not always impressive

While the hotel staff overall receives good reviews, several guests have commented on housekeeping being inattentive or simply absent. Furthermore, the pool and beach area are reportedly not serviced by staff either, so guests have to walk to the pool bar to secure snacks or drinks themselves.

Reservation system needs improvement

With over 600 guests, securing a table at a desired restaurant can be challenging due to the hotel's reservation structure, since guests report only being able to make reservations three times per week.

Drinks don't pack a punch

Several guests report that the alcoholic drinks are watered down and do not taste as they should. At least you will be able to order an unlimited amount of drinks for free to make up for the lack of alcohol!
