The Hotel Ilunion Mijas Antiguo Hacienda del Sol is set on rising ground between Fuengirola and Mijas in a beautiful setting overlooking the Mediterranean. The hotel was completely refurbished not long ago, and offers an excellent base for visitors, just 25 km from the airport of Malaga.

There are 130 air-conditioned rooms to choose from all with full bathrooms, mini-bars, satellite TV, and telephones; safe deposit boxes can be hired. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet connectivity is present throughout the hotel.

The Hotel Ilunion Mijas Antiguo Hacienda del Sol has two swimming pools, and the adult pool is 50 metres in length. The pools are open until late evening in the season. Views of the mountains and sea are magnificent here.

The hotel's cafeteria serves an extensive range of snacks and drinks and provides a friendly and relaxing environment.

The millionaire playground harbour of Puerto Banus is worth visiting. Andalusia’s capital at Malaga is also full of interest.

Located Between.

This hotel is well located between Fuengirola and Mijas, away from shops and bars, so that guests have to use transport to access either town, there is an easy and cheap bus service. The hotel however has its own attractive environment. The swimming pool

Staff Praised.

The staff were mentioned with universal praise from the guests as being friendly and helpful. One guest reports that they were visiting the hotel for the twelfth time, so there must be a great attraction here!

The hotel would seem to be in need of a revamp: rooms seem tired and in need of a facelift, with worn bed covers, some of the sockets not working, others were oddly placed, a shower flooding the bathroom every time it was used, the air-conditioning is not
