Positive Reviews

Oasis-like with courtyards and terraces.

Marrakech is a is more an assault on the senses than a city break. Particularly if you visit in the heat of summer, you'll be eternally grateful to slip back to the oasis-like environment of this Riad, with its cool, quiet courtyard and roof terrace.

Bursting with tradition and character.

If you want that authentic Moroccan experience, you'll discover it here. Guests love the unique, beautifully-designed rooms and the elegant character of the building. You can also get into the spirit with a traditional hammam experience.

Hospitable Moroccan service.

From the mint tea on arrival, to the generous advice with local area information, maps, and tips for surviving the Medina maze, the staff go out of the way to give you the full Moroccan hospitality treatment.

Negative Reviews

It's a challenge to find it.

If you manage to find this riad, you can consider yourself fully-qualified for exploring Marrakech. Hidden away at the far end of the labyrinthine medina, it can be a challenge to find unless you have a savvy taxi driver.

Far from the main square.

Although it is located within the Old Town, it's not in the thick of things, and it's quite a way to the main square and the bulk of the souks and restaurants, so be prepared for trekking around the city.

Extra taxes and booking issues.

Guests have warned about the unexpected city taxes which are added to your bill upon check-out. Some guests have also complained that their paid-for room has not been available, and they've been given a room across the road.
