Positive Reviews

The Staff is Very Attentive and Helpful

Guests agree that the staff at the Bull's Head is very attentive and helpful. They always greet guests with friendly smiles and often help with special requests, such as late check-ins or after hours meals.

The Rooms Are Not in the Pub

The rooms at the inn are actually in a separate area behind the pub. They have their own entrances. So, you don't have to walk through the pub to get to your room all the time. The separate area offers a nice degree of privacy according to guests.

You Can Bring Your Dog

The inn allows dogs. Although, there is an additional charge. Several guests stayed there specifically because they were allowed to bring their pets. They said that they loved being able to walk their dogs by the lake or in other nice outdoor spots near the inn.

Negative Reviews

The Wi-Fi Service is Confusing

Although the inn is advertised as offering free Wi-Fi service, several guests who were in the area on business were upset that the Wi-Fi did not actually work in the private guest rooms. In order to get online you will have to go into the main building and sit in the pub, which guests said was a bit inconvenient and distracting when they were trying to work.

The Rooms Are Not Soundproof

Although separated from the pub itself, the guest rooms are not soundproof. People coming in and out of the car park outside may keep you awake at night.

The Area is Not Central to Anything

The inn is not a good base if you're looking for city attractions. It's nowhere near large metropolitan areas. Since the outdoors is the only major attraction in the area, rain might make your stay boring.
