About Kingsail Resort

The Kingsail Resort Resort is a self-catering motel overlooking a stunning waterfront and adjacent to a marina as well as Sombrero Beach.

Guest units are modern and include air conditioning, cable television and free Wi-Fi. A kitchenette is also included equipped with a fridge, microwave and a stove. Rooms can accommodate up to six people.

Outdoor grills, a heated outdoor swimming pool and on-site laundry facilities are some of the features available at the Kingsail Resort Resort. Free parking is also available to guests.

Use of a private dock on-site

There is a boat ramp as well as a dock on the motel's grounds where guests are welcome to park their boats and/or go fishing so you can even enjoy what you caught on the grill or in your room afterwards.

Convenient location in the Florida Keys

The motel is well located a few minutes' drive to the Keys and all its sites and activity, which makes a few hours' or a day trip easy. Being situated right by a freeway also makes it easy to find and get to.

Negative Reviews

Could use some updating and maintenance

The motel's interior in particular shows signs of aging on the furniture, fixtures and even some furnishings eg. Bed linen. This at times can make the rooms feel less than clean although there are housekeeping services.

Rooms close together and can get noisy

As many of the motel's guests are groups of varying size, there may be quite a bit of noise from the pool or barbeque areas as well as people perhaps gathering at their porches to eat or perhaps entertain. The units at the back and closer to the dock are generally quieter.

Under the flightpath

Unfortunately ike any other hotels or facilities in the area, the price for being less than five miles from the airport is the occasional plane passing above or nearby and the noise that brings.
