Basic but comfortable rooms

Guests tend to be complimentary about the standard of the rooms at the Premier Inn Macclesfield South West. There are no luxuries here, but the rooms are of a reasonable size and are found to be clean and comfortable. The beds seem to be particularly good quality.

Friendly service from hotel staff

More than one review suggests that the staff is a credit to this hotel. Guests find the service is pleasant and friendly. Requests for extra supplies, such as towels and tea/coffee are met quickly and with the minimum amount of fuss.

Good overall value for money

Many guests found the room rates were competitive for the area and certainly less than you may pay in hotels nearer to the town centre. A few guests disliked having to pay extra for premium Wi-Fi but, that said, unless you intend to stream content, the free Wi-Fi is likely to suffice.

Disappointing restaurant

By far, the majority of negative reviews of the Premier Inn Macclesfield South West actually relate to the adjacent restaurant. The staff is not found to be so friendly and there are other problems such as dirty plates, food items missing from the buffet and slow service.

Internal noise

Traffic noise doesn't seem to be a big problem at this hotel but depending on who is staying at the hotel at the same time as you, internal noise may prove to be an issue. Guests mention being able to hear conversations and music from rooms near to their own.

A little far from the town centre

Some guests found the hotel was a little further from the town centre than they had anticipated. Unless you plan to walk the two miles into town, a car, taxi or public transport will be necessary.
