About Old Downton Lodge

Step back in time in the peaceful north Herefordshire countryside at Old Downton Lodge. This bed and breakfast is arranged around a pretty courtyard garden at converted former farm buildings dating from the 11th to 18th centuries.

Individually-styled rooms showcasing high ceilings, flagstone floors and exposed timbers boast en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, hairdryers and hot drinks provisions. Selected rooms add four-poster beds.

Facilities comprise an 11th century dining room with triangular windows, lounge-bar, free Wi-Fi, ironing equipment and complimentary parking.

A free full English breakfast is provided. Evening meals comprising multi-course tasting menus featuring locally-sourced produce are available. Italian and fine dining restaurants are located within 15 minutes’ drive.
