Positive Reviews

Great location near the tube

The big draw of this hostel for its guests is its proximity to Edgware Road tube station, just a couple of minutes' walk away. From here you can get to Oxford Circus or Baker Street in minutes and see Madame Tussauds. There are also many buses that pass by, meaning you can get anywhere easily.

Nice pub downstairs

Guests liked having their own pub onsite, where they could relax in a good atmosphere with a drink – throughout the night if they so wish. The pub serves nice food and the discount they receive is much appreciated.

Excellent value

You can't get a much better rate to stay so close to central London than this hostel's. Guests like the satisfactory standard of accommodation and good customer service offered too for the price.

Negative Reviews

The beds aren't the most comfortable

You do get what you pay for here, according to the guests, and like the price, that's not much – at least in terms of space. Three-tier bunk beds are crammed in to each room. If you're scared of heights in the slightest you may not be reassured by them swaying, creaking and looking worse for wear. To top things off, the mattresses are thin and pretty uncomfortable.

Lack of facilities

Guests feel that the hostel is a place to sleep and not much else. There's nowhere to hang out, nor even a kitchen or fridge to prepare or store food. It is OK for a night or two, but if you're staying a week, or longer it may not be appropriate.

Problematic showers

Guests are not too impressed with the showers. There's not enough for a start, they are not always clean and the temperature is either not warm enough or scalding hot.
