Positive Reviews

Spacious, well-appointed apartments.

Past guests staying at Phoenix Heights have described apartments as being spacious and well-appointed. Business travellers and families alike have found there to be plenty of room, while the fully-equipped kitchen proves popular with those looking to prepare their own meals.

Excellent views of the city.

Many guests comment on the views offered from apartments. Located on the higher floors of a multipurpose residential building, guests can see across the Isle of Dogs and much of London, with landmarks like the O2 Arena and London Eye there to be seen.

Convenient location in Canary Wharf.

Travellers with business in Canary Wharf and London's financial district will find the apartment building to be convenient. Meanwhile, nearby metro and light railway stations make it easy to get about the city at large.

Negative Reviews

Key collection from different location.

Guests booking a stay at Phoenix Heights are required to collect their keys from the reception at Circus Apartments on Westferry Circus, located 0.6 miles away from Phoenix Heights. This proves somewhat awkward for those travellers lugging heavy bags around with them.

Hard to find parking nearby.

Guests arriving by car may struggle with parking near the apartment block. Reports suggest there is little street parking nearby, with the nearest public parking facilities being located on Manilla Street, some 300 metres away.

Check-out too early for some.

A number of guests have been critical of what they refer to as an early check-out time, reporting that they would prefer to have an additional hour or two before having to vacate the apartment. This is particularly an issue for travellers with luggage as there are no on-site storage facilities.
