Positive Reviews

Conveniently located to many bus and tube stations.

Catching a bus or tube ride is convenient from Marylebone Inn, since it's in close proximity to several stations, including a bus depot outside the hotel. This allows you the opportunity to see such popular London sights as Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, the British Library, and Wembley Stadium without relying on a car.

Spacious and clean rooms are well worth the price.

The rooms are extremely clean and fresh looking upon check-in, and housekeeping is well maintained throughout your stay. Accommodations are comfortable enough for moving around and laying things about, and are much more than the reasonable rates suggest. It feels like luxury lodging at budget prices.

Kitchenette and nearby grocers are appealing.

Having basic kitchen supplies to one's own is appealing, especially since no meals are provided. You can easily grab ingredients and takeaway from nearby, and have whatever food you like, at whatever hour you want, in your room.

Negative Reviews

Fourth floor rooms can be challenging to navigate.

The fourth floor is the highest, and not the easiest to go up and down, if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage or purchases. It's recommended that you enquire at reservations about a low level or ground floor room if necessary.

Stuffy rooms and outside noise are frustrating.

When the windows are closed, the room temperatures can become quite warm. Street noise, however, filters in when the windows are open, particularly for those in the front of the building. The conflict may best be resolved by having ear plugs.

Staff are almost too reserved and out of the way.

Although it's nice to not have staff that's overbearing or always in your face, customer service here may be too standoffish. It's difficult at time to get their proper and prompt attention.
