Positive Reviews

Exceptional Value in West London

This property certainly represents excellent value; time and time again, it’s proven to be popular with visitors looking for a bargain in the affluent Kensington neighbourhood. The consensus is that this hotel offers a solid standard of accommodation in an area well-served by public transport.

Comfortable, Well-Equipped Rooms

Guests reported a comfortable stay at this property. Individual units were fairly generously sized, which is certainly a plus for a central London hotel. In terms of amenities, guests were happy to note that – in addition to lots of plug sockets – all rooms included tea and coffee facilities.

Welcoming Staff

It may be small, but guests at this property were pleased to find that staff here are big on customer service. While the reception team was lauded for offering warm welcomes, all members of staff were noted to be downright cheery. This made a lasting impression on guests.

Negative Reviews

Skimpy Breakfast

Breakfast at this hotel is a light affair. In fact, for many, the morning selection of toast, cereals, teas and coffees wasn’t quite enough to fill the gap until lunchtime. Guests would have liked to have seen something a bit more substantial.

Wi-Fi Fee, Weak Service

This property was very popular with budget-minded travellers and so the fact that Wi-Fi was only available via a surcharge proved to be a sore point with guests. Also, those staying on the upper floors of this hotel were disappointed to find that their connection was weak.

Dated Feel, No Lift

Despite being well-kept, there was a worn, dated feel to this property that guests couldn’t help but comment upon. For many, however, the bigger point was the lack of a lift; travellers – especially those on upper floors – disliked having to drag their luggage up the stairs.
