Positive Reviews

Magical Location

Great location in Kensington and close to Hyde Park The flats lining the street are gorgeous You will be right in the centre of everything Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, the Picadilly line, you name it, you’ve got it A little further down and you will be in the well-known neighbourhood Nottinghill.

Worth Every Pound

The hostel gives you exactly what you need It’s the basics, but most people can survive on the basics, especially when you are travelling The price is unbeatable The rooms are really decent when compared to a standard hotel It’s a good deal all-the-way-round You probably won’t be in your room that much anyways, there’s so much to see and do!

Nice Crowd

The people staying at the hostel are a lovely crowd Friendly, unassuming, and cautious, much like yourself They have drinking game nights on Friday and Saturday It’s a great way to meet people Of course, you can meet people everyday in the communal area as well.

Negative Reviews

Smokey Atmosphere

If you are going to stay at this lovely hostel, you’d better bring a mask to cover your nose, as you will have to get used to smelling smoke a good percentage of your stay.

The Elite Club Syndrome

The staff can seem a bit cliquish They huddle together and won’t even say hello when off duty and in the same area of people staying at the hostel It seems a bit strange if a staff member has just served you, and turns their head the next moment if they see you Perhaps it’s not such a big deal; however, the atmosphere of the hostel is communal It’s not a big issue, just something that’s noticeable.

Iffy Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi is not completely reliable except in the communal areas.
