Positive Reviews

Perfect location for a city visit

The hotel is so central that it’s just a short walk from either the bus or train station You can also walk to all of the restaurants and pubs/clubs in the city No need for taxis at all If you’re there for the football, you can take the bus out to either ground quite easily.

Great value for money

There always seems to be deals going for this hotel and even if you pay the full price it’s still a great bargain for a city centre hotel It’s basic and lacks any frills, but that’s what a budget hotel is supposed to be like.

Clean and exactly what you need

If you’re staying in budget accommodation, then all you want is a clean place to lay down This hotel is exactly that The rooms are clean and comfortable if a little small and the staff and very helpful.

Negative Reviews

It’s nice to be warm, but you need air to breathe

The hotel heating seems to have one setting – baking hot The heat was unbearable at times and left the rooms feeling very stuffy The windows couldn’t be opened so you can’t really sleep properly Other than that it is a great hotel.

Too noisy for kids

If you are staying with kids, then be prepared for a night of interrupted sleep The pubs and clubs nearby are quite noisy when they close in the early hours You can also hear the other guests which isn’t really the hotel’s fault.

Overpriced for a budget hotel

No real amenities or dining options are to be expected from a budget hotel, but the price didn’t really reflect that If you get a good deal, then it’s not a bad option for a city centre hotel.
