Positive Reviews

Terrific central location

Guest after guest mentioned that the location of the guest house really couldn't be improved. They liked that it was just across from a metro station, but also said that there was much of interest in the immediate area, especially nightlife, and that they could walk to many parts of central Lisbon.

Communal kitchen

Several guests commented on the shared kitchen, which they found a boon when looking to prepare a quick snack or light meal. Many guests also commented on the free availability of tea and brewed coffee, which they found very convenient.

Kind and helpful staff

Too many guests to mention reported finding the guest house's staff to be extremely kind and helpful. Several also appreciated that at least one staff member was on duty around the clock, which tended to set guest's minds at ease.

Negative Reviews

Very noisy location

It seems that many guests discovered that the great central location did not come without some downside. Several mentioned that the streets outside were very noisy, especially late at night, and that the rooms really weren't well soundproofed. A fitful night's sleep was the result for some.

No lift

A number of guests pointed out that there is no lift in the building and that there might be a flight of stairs or two to negotiate. This was not to everyone's liking, and those with serious mobility issues should definitely take note.

No air conditioning

Quite a number of guests travelling in the summer months really missed having an air conditioner in their room. They mentioned that it could get very hot in the rooms at this time, with some adding that if they couldn't really leave their windows open because of the noise outside at night.
