Happy Mike

The Happy Mike Hostel is a small luxury hostel with 7 rooms and 19 beds that are divided into two dorm rooms with 6 and 4 beds, 2 double rooms and one single room with a big bed, TV, LAN and a balcony.
Since we opened in June 2017 everything is brand new and of high quality and we would love to welcome you in person to show you the original Lisboa that we love so much!

Happy Mike Hostel is a place where I, Mike, who has been travelling for about 20 years, would feel comfortable and at home away from home. Located in an area that is still the original Lisbon with a good infrastructure, small shops and one of the last remaining markets, the Mercado de Benfica, the hostel allows you to have a relaxed stay in an otherwise hectic and touristic European metropolis. Due to the location one can reach Cais de Sodre per bus within 20 minutes, the big shopping center Colombo and the metro station Collegio Militar are 5 minutes walking distance away and the train station of Benfica is near as well, if you want to visit the Unesco site of Sintra. I came here in 2004 and fell in love with the rugged charm of Benfica. Come and see for yourself!
