Withy Self Catering Holidays Situated on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels where they combine peace and tranquillity with the convenience of being easy walking distance to Langport with its pubs, restaurants and shops. Ideal for weekly, mid-week or weekend stays for families, couples on a romantic holiday or special interests such as walking, bird watching, fishing and visiting the many National Trust houses and historic monuments nearby. 1 & 2 Withy Luxury Cottages: date from the early 1800’s retaining many original features each with a sunny patio and large garden with under cover barbecue area. Withy House: was built in 1898 in the style of a Victorian villa and we have renovated it keeping the original features. Large garden, patio with barbecue and open fire pit. Willow Vintage Caravan: is a 50’s girl with accurate era fittings and décor. She is a very rare model, all original girl, lovingly cared for by the same family from new. She is incredibly well preserved and still boasts all her original features. Situated in the lower garden with a fire pit and barbecue. Luxury cabin for shower and WC. All can be booked individually or to accommodate large groups we can accommodate 21 guests more
Hotel Old Pound Inn Langport
The Old Pound Inn is a traditional, friendly grade 2 listed village Inn, in Aller Langport, with a good reputation for fine food, real ales and genuine hospitality. Formerly known as the White Lion Public House, we were re-named The Old Pound Inn in 1980, as the Inn stands on the ground of the old village animal pound. A varying selection of West Country beers is pulled from the sprung stillage in the cellar of this large 16th-century village pub. An open Dutch fire is a feature in the centre of the bar. There is a restaurant, lounge, skittle alley, 7 bedrooms and a snug. Excellent food is served in the bar or restaurant, including a weekly Sunday carvery Dogs are welcome in the bar at this traditional village inn, please keep them on a lead. Monthly quiz nights and band night are also held here. more
