Positive Reviews

Ideal central location for enjoying Killarney

Anyone wanting to get a taste of the town's jovial atmosphere, couldn't be better placed, according to guests. Not only is there the bar downstairs, but a huge choice of other pubs, shops and restaurants along the main street. Most of the central attractions and the railway station can be reached in a short walk.

Lovely breakfast

The generous cooked breakfast is the highlight of many guests' stay here. There is a nice choice of foods, prepared using fresh ingredients.

Pleasant staff

On the whole guests find the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The lady who serves breakfast is frequently singled out for her charm and courtesy.

Negative Reviews

Noisy environment

It is no surprise that the owners leave earplugs in the rooms as guests regularly complain about the noise. However, the bar downstairs does not seem to be the main culprit. Rowdy clients from other pubs, bars and clubs along the road keep guests up until the early hours.

Small rooms

Some of the rooms feel a bit too compact for guests, especially if they are occupied by three people.

Parking problems

Guests are aware in advance that the place does not offer free parking. However, they are not prepared to have so much difficulty in finding a place as they often have. There is a public car park opposite, but it is payable.
