Wonderful accommodation

Guests, who stay at the Seaview John O' Groats in UK, say that though the hotel appears unwelcoming with a flat exterior, once you step inside it is anything but that. They are greeted with a warm welcome. The meals are beautifully presented and very delicious with an extensive menu. There are at least 100 bottles of different whiskies to try out. With all this and more in an accommodation, guests say that they will definitely make their way back to the hotel again.

Nice arrangements

The rooms are in a separate building across the actual hotel. Guests say they are lovely with good showers and small heaters. The Check-in and Check-out procedures are in the hotel lobby. Guests are happy with these arrangements and say they hotel presented them with a good time. They walked to the harbour and the famous Jon O' Groats sign post, and the ferry is also a few minutes away.

Great food and sea views

Many guests talked highly of the homemade and sea food in the restaurant of the hotel. It has lovely sea views which are a bonus to enjoy while dining. Guests especially commend the service and warm hospitality of the staff.

Negative Reviews

Room issues

Some guests say that the room walls are so thin that they could hear the TV sounds from the other rooms. A few guests say that the bathrooms are not very clean. Rooms are also not vacuumed. Guests say they would have liked if some face cloths were provided.

Understaffed

The place is understaffed. Guests say in the mornings there is only one person multitasking with cooking, serving and waiting on them.

Too many locals in the bar

The bar has locals swarming in and some guests say they are uncomfortable with their excessive swearing.
