Tasteful, luxurious and historical

This hotel managed to provide guests with luxurious accommodation and top-notch amenities without being gaudy or overblown. The atmosphere here was a real treat and the arty, neo-classical surrounds only served to heighten guests' sense of history, enhancing both their time in Istanbul and providing an overwhelmingly positive experience at this hotel.

Helpful and friendly, yet unobtrusive, the staff at this boutique property go out of their way to offer assistance to guests. Whether you need directions, a taxi or help choosing from this hotel's excellent wine list, the team at this hotel are more than happy to oblige.

Negative Reviews

Some noise

While many reported absolutely outstanding stays here, some guests did note a few niggling points. First and foremost, this is a very popular, crowded area of Istanbul and there were reports of noise from nightclubs, pubs and bars.

Tight rooms

There's no doubt that rooms here are luxurious, but some guests found them to be rather small for their liking.

Housekeeping blips

Finally, a handful of guests reported that rooms could have been cleaner, with some commenting that their units appeared to have been missed off of the housekeeping rota.
