Positive Reviews

Lovely welcome from owner

The owner of this place is very welcoming and is always on hand to help out with any problems that may arise. She is also a great cook and does all of the cooking herself making it a very homely place. You'll certainly feel like one of the family here.

Well maintained rooms

The rooms are in perfect condition at this guest house, and the wrought iron beds are a lovely touch. Many guests are impressed by the décor and feel that it's a great place to get a good night's rest. The cookies and tea are also a nice way to welcome guests.

Nice area

This guest house is in a residential area, and guests are happy to be made to feel welcome by the locals. The area is busy but quiet enough, and the fact that you have parking out back is a real advantage.

Negative Reviews

Bathrooms not too great

The bedrooms are very nicely decorated and in excellent condition, but the bathrooms aren't as good. They are a little dated, and some say that they have a damp smell more often than not. They're acceptable but not as good as the room.

A little pricey for a guest house

This place is by no means a boutique establishment, but the prices are a bit higher than you would expect. Some guests feel that it's not the best value for money considering the location and the fact that only a continental breakfast is included in the rate.
