With its original beamed rooms the hotel truly mixes centuries old elegance with modern day facilities.Ghyll Manor offers a wide variety of accommodation with all rooms exquisitely decorated. You can stay in the main house, the modern Stable Mews or the Cottage Suites.The Sussex Bedrooms, situated in the main house, offer guests beautifully decorated rooms boasting traditional features including beamed ceilings. Some rooms have the added luxury of a four-poster bed and 1 room has a tester bed with canopy. Sussex bedroom guests will benefit from a lounge area, many with views across the landscaped gardens.The Cottage Suites have wonderful views of the picturesque landscaped gardens and lake that can be enjoyed from the separate lounge area. The County rooms, situated in the modern Stable Mews, are individually decorated and are situated near to the Hunsdon Hall.

Noise issues.

The hotel is located on the flight path and relatively close to Gatwick Airport which meant that some could hear aircraft noise in the evenings and early mornings. Guests also objected to hearing music from the on-site bar which prevented some from gettin

Those who stayed at the hotel longer than a few days said that the menus did not change which meant that they had to eat the same dishes on a number of occasions.

Poor soundproofing.

Some guests mentioned that they could hear conversations from the adjoining suites as well as footsteps and creaky floor boards from the rooms above them.
