About Las Palmas Hotel

Situated in the very heart of Hollywood, steps from Hollywood Boulevard, Las Palmas offers modern self catering accommodation in a property featured in the movie Pretty Woman.

The rooms have that sleek and modern feel to them, and include all you’ll need for an independent stay in the world’s movie capital, including everything from flat screen TV’s to fully equipped kitchens.

The building has a fitness centre, for guests looking to break a sweat, as well as a business centre were guests can perhaps tweak that movie script before printing it out. There’s also a garden for those seeking out tranquillity.

Those not using their kitchen to make their own meals will find some great dining options nearby, especially on nearby Hollywood Boulevard. Musso and Frank Grill is a bit of an LA institution, and is just around the corner.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre are both approximately 600 yards from Las Palmas.

Positive Reviews

Good for Hollywood attractions

Guests who were keen to see the famous Hollywood attractions, like the Walk of Fame, mentioned that the hotel was very near to these, meaning they could quite easily walk over to them whenever they wished.

Suites were pretty large

The overwhelming majority of guests were pretty happy with the size of their apartment, with many saying that it was quite a bit bigger than they were expecting.

Well equipped kitchens

Guests really liked having the kitchens available, so they could make their own meals, rather than having to always rely on take out or expensive restaurants. Many mentioned that the kitchens were especially well equipped.

Negative Reviews

Extra fees everywhere

Guests complained about multiple extra fees being added to their bill. They maintained that they were definitely not notified that these would attract an extra charge at the time of booking, and were quite upset about having to fork out so much extra cash for everything from parking to cleaning fees.

Extremely noisy environment

Guests complained about multiple sources of noise. There was said to be noise coming in from the street outside, but the real noise problem seemed to be other guests. Going by the reviews, it seems the hotel is definitely a party hotel, with groups of guests partying long and hard in their rooms. Those not invited to the parties in question seemed to be less than impressed.

Not really a hotel

Guests were confused about the “Hotel' in the title. They maintained that the sort of service provided was really that of an apartment rental service, with no hotel style services available at all.
