Positive Reviews

Stunning Rural Views.

The mix of stately Victorian and charming, modern design pale when compared to that of the 160 acres of surrounding gardens. Such stunning views can be seen from Shendish Manor's terrace, running out into the formal Dutch Gardens. The native, outstretching greenery serves as the ideal landscape for walking, cycling, and catching glimpses of various birds.

Comfortable Amenities.

Guests are often inclined to regard the Shendish Manor as their home-from-home. Convenient amenities suffuse every facet of accommodation. Large LCD televisions, thermostat control, and hospitality trays are inclusive to each en-suite room.

Endless Meal and Beverage Options.

Not only does Shendish Manor feature light dishes at the bar, but three-course meals are served in the hotel's Orangery Restaurant. Produce are procured from local sources, ensuring that each meal is fresh and refined in taste. An assortment of locally renowned teas are available for purchase, as well.

Negative Reviews

Slow Restaurant Service.

Although the quality of food at Shendish Manor's Orangery Restaurant rarely fails to impress, the standards of such service fail to equate in excellence. Previous guests of this countryside hotel have reported waiting upwards of twenty-five minutes for the arrival of their order.

Poor Wi-Fi Connection.

As should be expected with any rural dwelling, wireless internet connection tends to be poor. Many guests have held complaints with Wi-Fi inaccessibility in the residents' rooms. Although connection is sounder in the bar and restaurant, the speed at which browsing is permitted may be slower than what most are familiar with.

Worn Facilities.

Guests who have previously booked their stay with Shendish Manor have found themselves at odds with certain malfunctioning facilities. Some of the rooms containing A/C generators are often subject to the disruptive clanking, as such generators are a bit dated. Some toilets and key cards have also been reported faulty or inoperable.
