Positive Reviews

It's Quirky But Normal.

The B&B has its own individual style. It's hard to explain it yet, it's basic and traditional. Perhaps because it's over a pub and there's a live band on the weekend, which makes it sort of a lodging place with a concert venue thrown in. It's still quite

It's Clean It's Fine.

The establishment keeps the premises clean and the room is pristine. So is the communal bathroom area.

Good Food Will Satisfy Your Appetite.

Along with the exceptional service they offer, the food is good as well. The full English breakfast gives you a good start in the morning and evening meals consists of succulent pork belly, beef, and chicken accompanied by fresh veggies and potatoes.

Negative Reviews

You Don't Get What You Pay For.

Ok, this may be a matter of taste and expectations; nonetheless, the B&B is not really a four-star. It's more like a two-star motel in a way. Being basic is fine, but there should be some factors that make the accommodation worth the "four-star" title. Pe

If You Don't Mind Sharing....

The accommodation has a shared toilet area. It depends on your temperament; however, every time you go to the loo you have to get dressed or at least look "appropriate." It can be a nuisance. There's nothing like an en suite bathroom.

It's The Details That Count.

It seems that the B&B forgets some of the small things. For example, there's no shower gel in the shower facility, cobwebs on the ceiling, drawer with an old used tea bag inside, posters on bed held up by tape, sound proofing would help too.
