The Rock Hotel Hotel in Gibraltar, recently refurbished to embrace both its colonial and contemporary styles, faces out to the Spanish Mainland and the North African coastline of Morocco.

Choose a room with or without a balcony, the junior suite, suite or penthouse. All rooms come with Free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, air conditioning robes, a safe and tea and coffee making facilities.

Weddings and conferences can enjoy the Khaima an authentic Moroccan marquee, or within the multipurpose meeting rooms. Alternatively, relax on the pool deck.

The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast and an a la carte menu of contemporary Spanish and Moroccan dishes through the day either indoors or al fresco. The Lounge Bar is available for a drink from midday with a snack menu.

Excellent Refurbishment

An excellent refurbishment to restore the Rock Hotel to its former glories has satisfied recent guests, some of who visited prior to the renovations and really appreciate the difference.

Great Views and Location

With great views of the harbour, and the proximity to the town centre, guests appreciate the location and convenience of the hotel.

Friendly Staff

Happy, eager to please floor staff has also helped the Rock Hotel to reinstate itself as the place to stay.

Squeaky Clean

With the renewed and refurbished rooms perhaps has come a new level of care, with guests more satisfied by the cleanliness than before Rooms obviously seem cleaner and tidier on arrival.

Attention to Detail Needed

The recent refurbishments has improved the status of the hotel greatly, however some guests felt an attention to detail must now be turned to certain common areas such as the gardens and rooftops of lower floors.

Overpriced Restaurant

While many guests have enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant, some felt the meals were overpriced for what was on offer.

Wishy Washy Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel however some guests found it was a weak signal, especially in their rooms and they required ‘loitering’ in hallways or public areas for business or research.

Value For Money
