Positive Reviews

Fantastic and central location.

If you enjoy being close to all the action, you will appreciate that a number of guests said they liked the fact that the guest house is situated in a good location near the city centre of Galway and all its shops, pubs and attractions.

Generally tidy rooms and property.

For the most part, people said the guest house and rooms were generally clean.

Home away from home.

There were also positive remarks about the homey and welcoming feel of the property.

Negative Reviews

Some accommodations may be a wee bit cramped.

There were a number of negative remarks about some of the guest rooms being very much on the small side, with small showers and equally cramped baths. If you have a lot of luggage or are travelling with a larger group of people, be sure to check out the room type before securing your booking.

Better noise control may be needed.

There were also complaints about the walls being too thin in the rooms. Several people said they could hear other guests talking and moving about, or sounds such as doorbells ringing. You may want to pack a pair of ear plugs if such noises bother you.

A few additional rants.

Some guests said they found the cost of a night's stay to be a little overpriced for what was offered. The food served at breakfast may be hit or miss – a few visitors said they were disappointed in the menu. Additionally, it was mentioned that there was trouble with hotel staff finding bookings in the system on a few occasions.
