Positive Reviews

Outstanding views over the loch

The abiding memory guests take away from their stay here is the exceptional views the guest house offers over Loch Linnhe, either from their room or from the lovely breakfast room. Guests facing the rear of the building are not to be out-done either as their rooms overlook a lovely and quiet garden.

Warm Scottish welcome

The excellent hospitality shown by the hosts really helps you feel at home here. Many guests love chatting to them and find them extremely friendly and helpful.

Cosy and clean accommodation

Guests say the place has a very cosy and homely feel - it is nicely decorated and immaculately maintained. The rooms are cleaned and tidied daily with fresh linen and towels.

Negative Reviews

A wee bit small

You may find the rooms are a bit too cosy for your liking. Guests comment that they are very compact and there is nowhere to leave your suitcases. The en-suite bathrooms are also tiny and many find the beds too short for their liking.

Breakfast uninspiring

Whilst the breakfasts may be filling and large, they are nothing out of the ordinary for many. It's the usual fayre that you find anywhere - with the same offerings served up to everyone.

A bit far from Fort William

If you're planning on strolling into the town centre of Fort William for a bite to eat or to look around, you might need to plan a fair bit of time. Guests often do not realise that it is so far out of town.
