Surrounded by tropical gardens, Hotel La Pirogue Resort & Spa provides beautiful beachfront accommodations in the Wolmar area. Parking and Wi-Fi is complimentary for guests and an all-inclusive option is available.

Activities Galore

There lots to do at La Pirogue. The resort offers an opportunity to try many water sports, including kayaking, paddle boarding and much more. Most of the rentals are complimentary for guests. If you prefer to stay dry, there are tennis, volleyball and basketball courts onsite, as well as other activities. The resort also offers a free shuttle to Aux Cerfs Golf Club, where guests don't have to pay a green fee.

Dining Delight

Guests loved La Pirogue's dining options, especially the breakfast, which has quality, fresh food and a good variety of dishes to choose from. You can also opt-in for the all-inclusive option, which lets you dine at any of the four restaurants and three bars at the resort.

Private Paradise

La Pirogue has beautiful, wide-spread grounds filled with lush gardens and a paradise-like setting. Overall, everything creates a relaxing environment. Guests loved the thatched roofs on their private bungalows, which add to the tropical atmosphere. Of course, the beach is just steps away as well, making everything picture perfect.

Negative Reviews

Breathing Room

La Pirogue is a large, spacious resort so you'll never feel bothered by crowds. Unfortunately, the wide-spread layout means there'll be some walking necessary between hotel facilities. The rooms are close to the beach but farther away from the lobby and the restaurants.

Slow Service

While most of the staff is wonderful, sometimes service can be a hit or miss. Several guests said the staff didn't always appear to be attentive to them, and requests can take some time to be fulfilled. Some guests also reported missed or semi-finished housekeeping.

Some Rooms Are Older

Though most guests didn't have any complaints, some commented that certain rooms are more outdated than others, and could use minor renovations. However, this didn't seem to subtract from the overall pleasant stay.
