Perfect location

Guests staying at the Tropic Relax in Finestrat, Spain, say that the hotel is perfectly located. The local beach is about ten minutes walk from the hotel and the Levante Beach is four miles. Mercadona supermarket and restaurants like the Hero's Bar are around the corner and guests say that they are amazing. There are convenient bus routes to just about anywhere in Benidorm for guests to tour without the extravagance of taxis.

Clean rooms

The rooms are clean and large and guests travelling with children say they find them extremely comfortable. There are bunk beds, plasma TV and large balconies. The bathroom is spacious as well and children especially love the tub. Housekeeping staff take care of requests for extra pillows, blankets or chairs and deliver them promptly.

Nice pool, plentiful meals

The hotel has friendly staff and good amenities. Guests say that the pool at the hotel is great. They appreciated that they are allowed to use the pool at the hotel across as well which has a children's slide and plenty of sun beds. Guests who go full board say that the meals are plentiful and sufficient even for vegetarians.

Negative Reviews

Communication issues

Many guests say that communication is an issue at the hotel as most staff members do not speak English. Another disappointment for guests was that the entertainment provided was all in Spanish.

Sub-standard amenities

Several guests say that most of the amenities are sub-standard. The sun loungers at the pool area are hard plastic with no padding. No beach towels are provided at the pool. The restaurant is small and the glasses and forks are dirty.

Rude bar staff

Some guests say that the bar staff is rude and did not even provide ice. Guests have to purchase costly ice bags which would slowly melt in the heat and prove useless.
