Negative Reviews

Negative: Along climb up the stairs for some guests.

As this is an old building, there is no lift which means that guests who are allocated rooms on the second and third floors have a bit of a climb in order to get to their rooms. This can prove a problem if you are carrying heavy cases or prams.

Rooms tend to get hot in the summer.

Guests who have stayed at the hotel during the warmer months of the year have complained that their rooms felt too hot as there are no air conditioning units.

Service at dinner can be slightly on the slow side.

Some guests have complained about having to wait more than expected to get served at dinner. This problem seems to occur mostly when there are wedding parties and functions held at the hotel.
