The majority of guests find the staff at the Paul offer a warm welcome, also commenting that they found the on-going service was attentive and friendly. The praise isn't limited to the front desk staff - guests also compliment the breakfast and housekeeping staff.
Many guests comment about how stylish they found the hotel. That goes for the common areas such as lobby and restaurant, as well as the individual rooms. A true boutique experience awaits!
Whether you're in NYC to work, play or relax, there's a good chance you'll find the hotel's location is convenient. Many attractions and a good selection of dining spots are within a short stroll. Plus, there are nearby metro and subway stations should you wish to explore a little further afield.
While small hotel rooms aren't particularly unusual for NYC, a number of guests describe the rooms at the Paul as ridiculously small. Some mention that there isn't even enough room to lay a suitcase down.
Recent reviews frequently mention that construction is taking place nearby. The hotel doesn't sound like it's particularly quiet at the best of times, but this work has disturbed a fair number of guests. The hotel is providing earplugs but these have limited effect.
Several guests mention that they found the cost of valet parking was a little excessive. If you're staying for a while, the daily charge certainly has potential to add a fair amount to the total cost of your stay.
