Waggers and his excellent team...
Many guests are quick to compliment Waggers, the hotel's resident labradoodle, on his excellent manners and the "homey", welcoming touch he adds to the place. His human colleagues at the front desk also gain rave reviews for their friendly, professional, "above and beyond" customer service.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Home cooking...
Though most guests enjoy the complimentary breakfast, a smaller group desires greater variety and possibly a greater number of staff during "prime time", as some were kept waiting for hot items or tables to be cleared. Others were put off by the 'communal' jars of jam and so on as opposed to individual packets; a homey, if potentially unhygenic, touch.
negative:
Stay disconnected...
A few guests who accepted adjoining rooms were dismayed to overhear their neighbour speaking on the phone or watching television, though the sound insulation between non-adjoining rooms and floors seems to be good overall.
negative:
The exception to the rule...
A very small percentage of guests have reported disappointing customer service or find the beds too firm for comfort.
