Room amenities include a large flat-screen television, hairdryer, mini-bar and work desk. The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk, concierge service, picturesque garden area and complimentary Wi-Fi. Access to an outdoor pool nearby is offered to all guests free of charge, while valet parking is available at a surcharge. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning at the hotel’s affiliated restaurant, Orange Blossom. This restaurant also serves American cuisine and cocktails throughout the day. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the Miami Beach Convention Center. Ocean Drive is just over five minutes away by car.

The location of the SBH South Beach is one of its biggest advantages - in the opinion of virtually all past guests. With a wide variety of attractions, restaurants, bars and shops surrounding the hotel, the hotel is a great base from which to explore Miami Beach.
Most guests have claimed that the rooms at the hotel are great overall. Furnished with modern amenities and eye-catching décor, the accommodations are also judged as comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Despite a small number of complaints, the large majority of previous visitors had a positive experience with the staff at the SBH South Beach. It has been stated that the customer service is friendly and very accommodating for the most part.
A number of former guests have voiced disapproving comments about the fact that certain facilities provided by the SBH South Beach, such as the outdoor pool and breakfast, are not on-site. The distance between the hotel and the pool has been a particular inconvenience in the past.
