The hotel is located in a calm and scenic area that is relatively close to the centre of San Sebastian. Guests are surrounded by gorgeous views of the nearby river and San Sebastian itself. The town centre is a picturesque walk away or guests can opt to take the nearby and convenient public transport links.
The staff at Silken Amara Plaza are all extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that guests feel welcome upon arrival. All team members are accommodating and helpful, answering any questions and helping with any requests guests may have.
Some guests found the Wi-Fi connection to be unreliable or intermittent in quality and were somewhat disappointed with this however, the Wi-Fi is free and its performance did not negatively impact they stay.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a bus station and while this is ideal for guests looking to explore the town centre, the buses generate a lot of noise during the night.
While a lot of guests found the location of the hotel to be a highlight, others found it to be a downside as they found the walk to the city centre to be rather long however, guests can utilise the nearby public transport links. Aside from the comments above the majority of reviews have been very positive.
