The staff at Résidence New Rochelle have assisted visitors with directions to the many eateries in the vicinity, and know the area very well. Many guests were saved the trouble of working out the bus schedules due to the good advice received from the helpful staff.
If you enjoy the beach at your doorstep, and the Marina within a couple of minutes' walk, then this location will be ideal. For those visitors who want to catch the water bus, this is conveniently available right at the Marina too.
Résidence New Rochelle is equipped with all the luxuries of home, according to most travellers. The kitchenette includes a full size fridge, while guests loved the fact that a dishwasher is included too. The kitchen utensils are also plentiful to cook a delicious home cooked meal.
There have been a few complaints from visitors who did not find anyone to greet them on arrival at the reception area. If you encounter this issue you will hopefully find a message waiting for you about where to find your keys for your apartment. The front desk only operates a few hours per day.
Many English guests were disappointed to find no kettle in the rooms, only a coffee maker, and some even went out and bought a kettle so that they could enjoy their daily cup of tea. Other guests used the microwave to warm up the water.
Some visitors felt that the comfort level of some of the beds was not up to scratch, while a few mattresses were lumpy, and others were too soft and sagged in the middle. The sofa beds however, were unusually comfortable.
