Guests said that the Royal Inn had a few areas in need of improvement, but the beds weren't one of them. Many guests noticed the quality of mattresses that provided a very pleasant end to the day, and some even said that it was the best sleep that they had in a long time.
Whether stopping into the pub for drinks or food, guests liked what they were served. The menu was the first indication that guests would be in for a treat, and when forks hit the plate, guests were more than happy to eat the delicious fare in front of them.
The workers at this hotel were absolutely faultless, and many guests encountered a level of customer service that would be hard to find elsewhere. Guests said that it would be a pleasure to return for the friendly, first class treatment that they received.
Many guests thought that rooms and the reception area needed a facelift. The bathroom was greeted with dismay by quite a few staying here, and while clean, some weren't willing to overlook peeling paint, ancient door locks, and really old decor.
If you have visions of cuddling up with a movie on your laptop or getting some work done, you might be sorely disappointed. Wi-Fi certainly wasn't the best feature of the Royal Inn, and many guests learned the hard way that you can't count on technology.
If you are staying during the winter months, you might find yourself reaching for some extra layers. A few guests encountered rooms that weren't equipped to deal with the cold, with poorly working radiators to blame.
