From the hotel, walking to the Cologne Cathedral in the Old Town will take about 20 minutes on average. In the Old Town are many interesting attractions, including museums, churches, lovely views of the Rhine.
While not in the Old Town, Rudolfplatz is a lively place to be, with easy access to public transport, shops, bars, and many dining options.
Almost all who stay at Novum Leonet Köln Altstadt are satisfied with the buffet breakfast. Serving classic hot and cold options, there should be something for everyone.
Disappointing those who stay in the summer months is the fact that none of the hotel rooms offer air conditioning. At best, guests will receive a fan to help beat the heat. Otherwise, windows must be left open to allow a breeze.
This is a popular area that can be loud during the night. The noise is made worse in summer when hotel guests have their windows open.
The hotel does offer some parking, but space is extremely limited. Most guests will have to find private parking.
