The 3-star St Barbara hotel is located in the Tallinn city centre, less than ten minutes’ walk from old town attractions like the Tallinn Town Hall, Raekoja Square, the Alexander-Newski Cathedral, the Estonian Museum of Occupations and Kiek in de Kök. This historical, limestone building is a ten-minute bus ride from the Tallinn Bus Station. All 53 rooms come equipped with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, an en-suite bathroom with floor heating and a hairdryer, a work desk, minibar, fan and a telephone. Guests can take advantage of a computer station at the reception, as well as free parking and luggage storage. This hotel features the Baieri Kelder German restaurant, where breakfast buffets are also served. St Barbara guests can reach Tallinn’s international ferry terminals in less than a 15-minute drive.

St Barbara is said to be located just a short walk away from the tourist hot spots of the Tallinn old town, as well as the Freedom Monument and the opera house. Furthermore, guests said it was a few minutes away from handy tram links.
Guests said the reception staff was great, offering welcoming and accommodating service, while those travelling with children said the hotel was family friendly. On top of this, guests also liked the on-site German restaurant, which was located in an atmospheric basement.
The rooms here were enjoyed for their space, comfort, peace and cleanliness, in addition to much appreciated free parking and a good standard of Wi-Fi. One more thing: Guests mentioned that the hotel itself is found in a rather handsome historical building.
The breakfasts at St Barbara divided opinion, with one camp thinking that there should have been a wider range of fare on offer for the star class of the hotel. Having said this, many other guests did rather enjoy their meal, found it tasty and said they had plenty of hot and cold dishes to set them up for a day of city touring.
A small number of guests considered the rooms and furnishings here to be a little dated, although the vast majority of people appeared to have to such concerns. However, a few guests were rather unhappy that they did not have a kettle in their room.
