Hotel Villas Castillo (Caleta de Fuste, Spain)

Though these villas are only a few minutes from the airport, surprisingly, there are no issues to report regarding aircraft noise. Guests loved the stunning views out to sea and many found the overall atmosphere to be incredibly peaceful and tranquil.

Guests were absolutely delighted by the size of the villas, with many commenting positively on their spacious bedrooms and roomy common areas. Additionally, many reported that their private pools were kept absolutely sparkling thanks to regular cleaning and maintenance.

This property's reception team - well, woman, actually - is outstanding, with many past guests singing her praises. Directions, help with car hire, advice on restaurants, and even assistance with Wi-Fi issues - nothing seemed to be too much for her, a point which only added to the overall guest experience here.

Strong smells from drains here seemed to be a real issue. Though they seemed to be emanating from outside pipes, many also reported catching whiffs of something odd in the downstairs areas of their villas.

A number of guests felt that the beds here were a tad on the firm side, sometimes bordering on uncomfortable. For others, however, weak Wi-Fi was more of an issue, with some only able to catch a signal right next to the router. Finally, while visitors were delighted to have their very own pools, many felt that they were just too cold for comfort and could do with being heated.

Finally, a number of visitors here were disappointed to find that the nearest town was just too far to walk. Those who had rented a car were happy with the distance, but those bereft of wheels found the location to be isolated.
